TOPIC: Learn how to: Analyze data using Excel A quick and efficient way to apply the smell test to large amounts of data How to identify non-conforming items SPEAKER BIO: Gogi Overhoff is a senior accountant at Gumbiner Savett who specializes in audit and fraud related projects, including audits of public and privately held businesses, SOX 404 compliance projects, assistance with IRS/FTB audits, asset misappropriations and bankruptcies. She is part of the firm’s Quality Control committee. Prior to working at Gumbiner Savett, Gogi spent almost ten years providing accounting services to industry where she focused on fixing problems and instituting fraud prevention procedures. Gogi is very active in the accounting community. She is a director of the Los Angeles Chapter of CalCPA and is the co-chair of the Annual Fraud in Accounting, Auditing and Tax Conference. Gogi enjoys bicycling and gardening in her free time.
