| TOPIC: "In the Trenches of Telecom Fraud: Abuses and Corrections" SPEAKER: Jim Marsh, Director of Revenue Assurance, Public Communications Services, Inc. DESCRIPTION OF SPEECH/SPEAKER BIO: Mr. Marsh, a telecommunications expert, works for Public Communications Services, Inc., a company that provides telephone service for jail inmates. Using his experience in IT and financial operations, he will discuss telecom fraud, present examples of cases, and also provide a general overview of PCS’s business that includes inmate services. The take-away is valuable information that CFE consultants, auditors and corporate managers will want to hear. MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Frances Zuniga, Enrolled Agent and Certified Fraud Examiner, Phelps Consulting Group. In the Member Spotlight in September will be Frances Zuniga, President of the Los Angeles ACFE chapter. Frances, who specializes in tax consulting and litigation support, will give a five-minute presentation about her practice and the investigations she has conducted. |
