| TOPIC: "The Insurance Implications of Fraud Loss: Got Coverage?” SPEAKER: Patricia Barrett DESCRIPTION OF SPEECH: Only a small percentage of organizations, victimized by fraud, will recover their loss fully from insurance. What are the underlying reasons that contribute to this fact? Is there a way to ‘close the gap’? What types of coverage are available? What conditions, restrictions or exclusions should an organization consider to ensure the maximum potential for recovery? Is it costly or difficult to qualify for? Whether your organization is (or clients are) large or small, public or private, for- profit or not-for-profit…this discussion will consider the implications of being un- insured, under-insured or not having the ‘right-type’ of insurance protection in place.
